Sarah Robinson was born about 1804 in New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of James Pewlet and Sarah Robinson and the sister of Mary Sarah (Craft) Morris [half], James Peaulet-Robinson, Joseph (Croft) Craft Jr [half], Edward James Craft [half], William Craft [half], James Craft [half], Susannah (Craft) Bridge [half] and Phillis (Craft) Crump [half]. She was born with, and retained her mother’s maiden name, Robinson, as that is the name she used when she married William Webb.
Sarah and James, could not get too attached their father, James Pewlett, as he departed a year or so after James Jnr. was born, to marry Elizabeth Williams on June 14, 1809, however Joseph Craft entered Sarah's mothers life as early as February 1809 
Her father, James Pewlett, died on 28 March 1820 at Pitt Town, Hawkesbury, New South Wales, Australia the same year she married William Webb .
Marriage to William Webb
She married William Webb on 7 February 1820 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia (to about 1828). Sarah marriage would not see the decade out, despite the birth of their daughter, Jane Webb. It was noted in the Sydney Gazette on Jan 23, 1828, that she "...Swore the Peace against William Webb for he had a habit of beating her with his fist with great violence".

Sarah Webb was already seeing William Dixon by this time, and she had already had 6 children, Sarah Ellen (Dixon) Ellem, Susannah (Dixon) Ellem, Isaac Dixon, William Dixon, Mary Ann Dixon and Eliza Dixon, by the time they married in 1871.
She was aged 67 years and William was 69 years, when they married on 5 June 1871 in Brisbane Water, Hunter, New South Wales, Australia.
Sarah died on 2 November 1872 at Ellalong, Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia aged 68 years. She was buried in Wollombi Cemetery.
