If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community.   Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.  It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.  Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code.  This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community.   We have many friendly members, feel  free to ask if you have any questions. 

Hi Peter. Just start with yourself and work back. It is fairly simple. If you have data stored on another site it can be imported as a gedcom. Here's a link that may help.

Check the top right corner under “Help” and select “Help Category” Please drop in to our friendly Genealogist to Genealogist (G2G) forum to introduce yourself to other WikiTreers - you can access the G2G by selecting G2G Profile from your My WikiTree menu at the top right of most pages. WikiTree can be a bit overwhelming at first, so don't hesitate to post your questions in the G2G. Good luck with connecting your leaves and branches to our big tree.

I have noticed that I can start with an entry. My Robinson ancestry as far as I can ascertain dates back from the 1830's in Dublin Ireland and Gloucestershire in England to recently in Australia.
