Mark Alan Robinson
Mark Alan Robinson, 38, of Buffalo Gap, went to be with his lord and Savior, June 10, 2000.
Mr. Robinson was born in Coleman on January 9, 1962. He lived in Abilene most of his life, and was a 1980 graduate of Cooper High School. He also attended T.S.T.I. and Cisco Junior College. He was a self-employed building contractor.
He married Cindy Rodgers in Coleman on November 20, 1981. He was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church in Coleman.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy of Buffalo Gap; his mother, Pat Robinson of Abilene; a brother, Mike Robinson of Novice; a sister, Misty Mach of Abilene; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Carolyn Rodgers of Abilene; his grandparents, Rev. Paul and Anita Smith of Coleman; an aunt, Ann Smith of Abilene; numerous other aunts and uncles; three nieces and two nephews.
Pallbearers will be Tim Akins, Brett Love, Paul Foster, Rusty Hoff, David Aldridge, and Tommy Law. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Olsen, David Docker, Greg Everett, David Copeland, Pat Akens, and Johnny Howell.
Mark was an avid Outdoorsman; he loved golfing, fishing, and hunting. Mark especially enjoyed and took great pride in his nieces and nephews, Amber, Monty, Lacy Dustin and Adison. Mark loved to cook, rarely missing a gourmet TV show and grilling out with family and friends. Mark was a best friend and soulmate to his wife, Cindy , of 19 years, not to mention a buddy and friend to all who knew him, always lending a helping hand or attentive ear. Mark will be missed by all.
