Biography

William was born about 1765 in Cumberland County Virginia. His parents were Hezekiah Robinson and his wife Judith whose maiden name is yet to be determined. ^[1]

William was married 24 October 1785 in Cumberland County Virginia to Frankey Winfree. ^[2] They became the parents of twelve children, four sons and eight daughters.^[3]

William and his young family moved from Virginia to Tennessee sometime after 17 January 1807 when he sold his land there on Muddy Creek. ^[4]
