Claire R. Carle A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002, in Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes for Claire R. Carle who died March 29 at age 78.

Claire R. Robinson was born March 6, 1924 in Roseville, Calif., and was raised in Seaside. She moved in 1950 to Portland. She was a Clerk for Southern Pacific Railroad for 29 years and then an adult foster care provider in her home for 28 years. In 1959, she married Robert C.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Judith Wilkins and Catherine Rhoades; nine grandchildren; 15 Great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Her daughter Penelope Rybloom died in December.
