He married on 19 December 1826 in Cumberland County, Virginia to his cousin Sally Robinson. [2] They were the parents of two daughters, Margaret and Cornelia. [3]
Wiltcher and his family appear in the 1840 census records for Cumberland County, Virginia. [4]
He died before 10 October 1844 when the court ordered the appraisement of his estate. [5]
