James was born about 1845. He is the son of Stephen Robinson. James Robinson married Eliza Mills on 21 May 1868 in Mount Barker, South Australia. He passed away in 1906. His will left everything to his wife Eliza, and thence to his children in the event of her death or remarriage. The named executors were Lewis Robinson of Houghton, Walter William Robinson of Renmark, Alick Stephen Robinson of Houghton, Herbert Charles Robinson of Millbrook, Ethel Rose Robinson. The will states his date of death to be 4 Jun 1906 whilst the gravestone bears the date 26 Jun 1906.
