Sydney Pearce Robinson was born on 29 November 1887 in the Hundred of Pearce on Eyre Peninsular near Elliston. He is the son of Arthur Robinson and Kate Stacey[1].
Sydney was 25 years old when he married Mary Ellen Whitehead at St Lukes Church in Colton on 18 Jun 1913[2].
They had 9 children: Eva, Gordon, Lloyd, Murray, Arthur, Noel, Elmer, Roy and Melva[3].
Sydney died in Colton on 16 August 1973 in Colton, South Australia aged 85[3]
