Biography

Samuel was born in 1843, the son of Betty Robinson.[1]

He appears on the 1851 census at Thornton with his mother and grandparents.[2]

His mother married Thomas Jowett in 1856, and Samuel and his brother Henry are shown on the 1861 census with the surname Jowett.[3]

Samuel died on 31 July 1911 and is buried at St Paul's church, Denholme, Yorkshire.[4][5]
