Sidney John Robinson was a British athlete who competed in the sport of athletics at the 1900 Olympics in Paris. He came second place in the 2,500 metres steeplechase, third place in the 4,000 metres steeplechase, and won the 5,000 metre team race (competing for a mixed team).
He was born in 1876 in Denton, Northamptonshire. He was the son of William Robinson, carpenter, and Rebecca Tarry.[1][2]
