Sarah Rose Robinson was born in Virginia on 20 May 1817. Sarah married James Allen Wells on 2 July 1838 in Sidney, Ohio.[1] They had 7 known children. Sarah died on 21 February 1876. She is buried at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney, Ohio.[2]

1870: Sarah Wells is enumerated in Clinton, Ohio. She is 54 years old and it is inferred that she lives with her husband and 5 children (ages 10-29). She was born in Virginia. Under occupation, it lists "At School."[5]
