Biography
Sarah Robinson was born in 1757[1].
She married Josiah Alden on 23 February 1783 in Cape Elizabeth, Maine[2]. They had seven children, all born in Gorham[3]:
- 1. Austin, born 3 Nov 1784; married Anna Lord
- 2. Salome, born 12 Nov 1786; married Solomon Davis
- 3. Charles, born 20 Jan 1789; married Nancy Quinby
- 4. Hannah, born 20 Jan 1791; married Jotham Sedgley
- 5. Nancy, born 13 Feb 1793; married 1st Samuel Parker, 2nd Warren Nickerson
- 6. Gardner, born 13 Jan 1795; married Martha Chick
- 7. Lucy, born 9 Apr 1797; married Samuel Goodwin
Sarah passed away on 21 August 1820 in Gorham[4] and is buried in South Street Cemetery.
