Biography

John was likely born 1863 at Derrinleagh, Kildress, County Tyrone. He would have been the son of David Robinson, blacksmith, and Margaret Bell. [1]

He was a teacher at Corvanaghan National School, as was sister Maggie who was the workmistress. Their brother David was a blacksmith.

He passed away 3 March 1902 at Montober age 38, unmarried, due to an abscess. He was interred in the family burying-ground, Clare Churchyard. The chief mourners were: [2] [3]

Several other schoolteachers of the area also attended.
