Carey was born in 1952. She is the daughter of Brady Robinson and Amy Zimmerman.[1]
A celebration of life will be [was held] at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, in St. Aidan's Episcopal Church in Gresham for Carey Elizabeth Robinson, who died Jan. 12 of a stroke at age 46. Miss Robinson was born Aug. 15, 1952, in Portland. She was a Presidential and National Merit scholar and valedictorian at David Douglas High School, graduating in 1970. In 1969, she was a Multnomah County representative to a National 4-H Congress in Chicago. She attended Stephen's College in Columbia, Mo., and later was a meter reader for Pacific Power & Light. She was a member of the church and secretary and treasurer of the Daughters of the King. Survivors include her mother, A. Joyce, and sisters, Toby Bayard and Laura Long, all of Portland. Disposition was by cremation. The family suggests remembrances to Amnesty International Group 48, 3004 N.E. 18th Ave., Portland, Ore. 97212, or her church.[2]
