Sarah Bridgetta Dorothea Roche was born in 1819 in India to Robert Roche and Louisa Margaret (Plucker) Roche. She baptized on
She married John Finnis in India on 2 January 1838.
Together they became the parents of nine children including Robert Finnis, John Finnis, Thomas Quested Finnis, Henry Roche Finnis, Louisa Jane (Finnis) McLaughlin and Lucy Ann (Finnis) Vallentin.
She passed away on 16 August 1890 in Middlesex, England.
