Ellen Roche was a member of the aristocracy in British Isles.
Under construction: Ellen is currently (April 2021) showing as marrying the brother of her grandfather. The dates simply do not work here -- Ellen was born ca.1460, making her 8 years younger than her grandfather. Cokayne (both 1st and 2nd editions) say she is daughter of Maurice Roche, Lord of Fermoy, without specifying the maternal line. Cracroft's Peerage (below) appears to be confusing 2 Ellen Roches and/or 2 Maurice Roches from different generations. Comments welcome from all, especially Roche family enthusiasts.

From context, it appears Ellen was the mother of all 3 (possibly 4) of Maurice's known children.
