Note N1022The Daily Capital, Topeka Ks Feb 2, 1979 - Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church here for Mrs. Lenora Pearson, 68, Osage City, who died Wednesday night at her home. She had been ill two and a half years. She was born Jan. 21, 1911 in Elk City, and moved to Everest as a small child. She lived north of Miller until 1961 when she moved to Osage City. She and her husband operated Osage Bowl, a bowling alley until retiring. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Osage City, United Methodist Women and the Busy Bee Club, Miller. She married Ferdinand Pearson on May 20, 1937 in Everest. He survives. Oather survivors include three sons, Lyle Pearson and Norman Pearson, both of Osage City, and Dr. Basil Pearson, Cannon City, Colo; three sisters, Mrs. Gladys Jenson, Whiting; Mrs Helen Moore, Hiawatha, and Mrs. Virginia Rudisill, Richland, Wash; a brother, Ted Rockhold, Robinson; and six grandchildren. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Osage City. Mrs. Pearson will lie in state from 2 p.m. Friday until 12:30 Saturday at Crable Funeral Home, Osage City, and then at the church until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Lenora had many strokes and died from a stroke.
