William Rockwell, son of Imley Rockwell and Polly (Dickson) Rockwell, was born about 1828 in Hinckley Township, Medina County, Ohio.
He married Elizabeth Porter on 2 March 1847 at Media, Ohio.[1]
He was a farmer when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 30 Aug. 1850 in the home of his father at Hinckley Township, Medina County, Ohio.[2] He was a farmer when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 6 July 1860 at Royalton, Cuyahoga, Ohio.[3] He was a farmer when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 18 Aug. 1870 at Delhi, Delaware, Iowa.[4] He was a farm hand when he and Elizabeth appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 at Delhi, Delaware, Iowa.[5]
William died in 1887 and was buried at Chauncey Aldrich Memorial Cemetery, Green Bay, Brown County, Wisconsin. His memorial has links to those of family members.[6]
