Robert was born in 1800 in England.
Following a trial held in Jul 1818 in Wiltshire, England, regarding a burglarly in Mr. Thomas Millard's house, Robert was found guilty and sentenced to transportation to the Colony of New South Wales for seven years.
He departed England on 30 Apr 1819 on the vessel John Barry.[1]
Duringt the period Jul-Oct 1823 Robert was assigned as a Gardener at the Male Orphan School.
He married Catherine Smith, also a convict, after permission was obtained from the authorities, in 1829.[2]
He died in Liverpool NSW in 1875.[3]
