Biography

Rose was born about 1901. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Theresa Dillon.^[1] Rose Rockwell married James Littlehales in 1920 at Washington, D. C.^[2]

In 1928, Rose Rockwell Littlehales married John Radcliffe Ewell at Washington, D. C.^[3]

In 1942, Rose was identified in the news article about her son's death. "Ensign Littlehales' mother is Mrs. Daniel B. Moffett, 3900 Tunlow road N.W."^[4] Daniel Bruce Moffett, of 3900 Tunlow Rd. Washington, D. C. listed his contact on his World War II Draft Registration as Mrs. Sylvia R. Moffett.^[5]
