Thomas Rockwell, son of John Rockwell and Elizabeth Weed, was born probably in Stamford around 1667.[1]
Thomas Rockwell married at Norwalk, Connecticut 9 Dec. 1703 Sarah Resco, daughter of John Resco of Norwalk.[1]
He died June 1712 in Norwalk, Connecticut.[1]
The estate distribution was made on 20 May 1724 and was recorded on 16 April 1755. It mentions Mrs. Sarah Osborn, Sarah, Thomas, John, and Jabez.[2]
On 27 March 1754, a distribution agreement was signed by Thomas Rockwell, Jabez Rockwell Joseph Hobart, Samuel Betts, and Zebulon Crane.[3]
He and his brother Jonathan (who married Abigail Canfield) settled at Ridgefield, Connecticut. Jonathan was one of the first proprietor and Thomas came in July 1711.[4]
