Biography
He was born 26 March 1838 in New York, the son of Samuel D Rockwell and Orilla James Sherman. [1]
In 1880, he was 42 years old working as a coal shipper living in Yonkers, Westchester, New York with his wife Phebe and children Grace, Samuel and Jarvis Waring. [2]
He died 18 Mar 1862 in Yonkers, Westchester, New York. [3]
He is buried in St. John's Cemetery in Yonkers, New York. A burial place for many in the Waring and Rockwell family. [4]
