Frank was born about 1870 in Newcastle, England.
He emmigrated to the United States in 1872 and married Alice. They settled in Decatur Township, Center Precinct, Clearfied, Pennsylvania and were recorded here during the 1900 census. [1]
The family were living here with Alices mother and father from Ireland, also a boarder Robert Whitehead aged 58 from England.
THe 1920 census records Frank living in Houtzdale with Alice and further sons and daughter.[2]
