Happily married to my husband, also of the tri-state area of OH-WV-PA. The Fire Element, Aries

Sun Tzu

If it is not advantageous, do not move. If objectives cannot be attained, do not employ the army. Unless endangered do not engage in warfare. The ruler cannot mobilize the army out of personal anger. The general cannot engage in battle because of personal frustration. When it is advantageous, move; when not advantageous, stop. Anger can revert to happiness, annoyance can revert to joy, but a vanquished state cannot be revived, the dead cannot be brought back to life.

I wouldn't have a problem with 18th cousins if there was legitimate research, but this trail is unproven, to say the least! :-) Highly doubtful.

Colleen, Sequoyah appears to a have a profile here:

The web page you linked to on my profile appears to have no sources. THe NA project would be hesitant to use it without better understanding of where it got its info from. Thanks.

Hi Colleen,

Thank you for your lovely message! I'm currently working on Archduke Otto of Austria, and after that probably his father Karl, but I would absolutely be interested in writing the biographies for the Romanov children :D

Hi Colleen and thanks for your message re Sheila Burnford.

I think she is more appropriate to the Notables Project. I've put a Scotland sticker on her profile meantime.

Thank you very much for your kind comment on Simon Girty's profile.

I tried to be unbiased and honest presenting both perspectives. No, he is not a relative, I read a lot of sources and wanted to give a fair objective well thought out profile read. One that would challenge a person's possible bias.

Hi Colleen - Thanks for helping with Dostoevsky!!! One thing I haven't taken the time to do is figure out for sure if there is already a more robust profile on WikiTree. I was not able to find one when I created the profile you saw ... but I've gained a lot of WikiTree skills since then ... and was really surprised no one had created him yet. Maybe his major profile is present, but primarily in Russian? If you have some moments to figure out whether what we've edited is really the only profile for him here, that'd be great. I'm supposed to be working right now but am taking a little break. Thanks again for your help!

Hi Colleen,

You can work on profiles of notable persons without being a part of the project. Please do review the project guidelines and follow them so that the profiles will meet the standards they have established.

By the way, that project doesn't require GoogleGroup participation. You might get some comments from the members but no more than you would get from the profiles you manage. I work on a couple of profiles for notables and am part of the project but have never received emails from the project.
