Biography
Robert (Rodgers) Rogers was born in Kentucky.
Robert was born on 24 August 1885 in Marion County, Kentucky. He was the son of John Rogers and Lucinda Maupin. [1][2]
Lucian registered for the WWI draft on 5 June 1917 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He listed his occupation as blacksmith and was described as tall and slender with brown eyes and black hair.[3]
He married Margaret Catherine Mitchell on 20 August 1912 in Taylor County, Kentucky.[4]
Lucien died on 8 November 1953 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He was buried in the Brookside Cemetery.[5][6]
Research Notes
His LNAB is spelled with and without the D (Rogers and Rodgers). On his WWI registration card the name was Rodgers, however he signed with his mark. His death certificate and tombstone use the spelling with out the D. The census records use both spellings.
