Caesar inherited his father’s entire estate and continued to increase the family’s reputation through farming and other ventures.[2]
Marriage
Caesar married Elizabeth Crawford,[1] the daughter of an Episcopal missionary from England, in about 1727. Elizabeth was a cultured woman who encouraged intellectual pursuits among her children.

Caesar and Elizabeth had seven children:

Thomas, b. 4 June 1744, d. 2 Jan 1811, married Elizabeth Fisher and had issue[1]
Death and Burial
Caesar died 3 May 1745.[1] Following his death, Elizabeth Crawford Rodney married Thomas Wilson and produced two more children, one daughter and one son.[2]
