PUBLIC SALE OF THE COMMUNITY PROPERTY OF NOEL DELATTE AND HIS WIFE, MARIE-JOSEPHE RODRIGUE. Sale is made by Noel Delatte with the consent of his wife, Marie-Josephe Rodrigue, and the bondsman for her children by her first marriage, Jean-Baptiste Rodirgue. Sale announced by Giles Cantin and conducted in the presence of Noel Delatte, his wife, Jean-Baptiste Rodrigue, his father-in-law; Antoine Folse, Antoine Tregre and Jan-Michel Fortier. Buyers and their bondsmen were: Mathias Haydelle, Jean-Baptiste Philipson, Charles Picou, Jean-Louis Delattre, Jean-Bptiste Berger, Atnoine Folse, Francois Weber, Pierre Rousselle, Jean D. Bridy, Pierre Bossier fils, Antoine LeBorne, Antoine Tregre, Michel Andry, Joseph Perret, Noel Perret, Father Mariano, Lois Orry, George Weber, Pierre Becnel, Francois ARceneaux, Jean Folse, Louis Folse, and Benjamin Borne. A farm 4 1/2 arpents wide, bounded below by the farm of Pierre Rouselle and above by that of Yves Berthelote, is sold to George Rousselle for 1057 piastres. Instrument signed by: Antoine Delatte, Antoine folse, Antoine Borne, Pierre Bossie and Antoine Tregre.
Receipt, July 7, 1800. Noel Delatte declares, in the presence of Jacques de Lagroue and Louis de Grandmont , that he has received from Pierre Rousselle complete payment for the slave sold tohim.
Receipt, Feb. 16, 1801. Noel Delatte declares, in the presence of Jacques de Lagroue and Louis de Grandmont, that he has received from George Rousselle full payment for the arm sold to him. Similarly, he acknowledges receipt from Benjamin Borne of the full amount due on the sale of a slave.
