Birth

Rebecca ROE was born on January 26, 1818, in England to Mary LAMBERT, age 24, and James ROE, age 28. She was baptized 07 Mar 1819 at an Independent Church in Haslemere, Surrey. When she was 2 years old her family immigrated from England to Philadelphia, arriving Sep 29, 1820. Her brother William was born in 1826 in Pennsylvania when Rebecca was 8 years old.

Rebecca ROE married John ELSE in Pennsylvania on June 26, 1836 [source info missing], when she was 18 years old.

Children: Her daughter Lucinda Ann was born on December 25, 1837, in Somerset, Pennsylvania. Permelia was born on May 7, 1839, and passed away that same day. Her son William Henry was born on February 22, 1841, in McHenry, Illinois. Elizabeth S was born on July 16, 1842, in McHenry, Illinois. Betsy Jane was born on January 5, 1844, in McHenry, Illinois. Elizabeth S passed away on May 6, 1845, in Illinois at the age of 2. Mary Sophia was born on February 25, 1846, in Illinois. Abelino Florado was born on February 22, 1848, in McHenry, Illinois. George Washington was born on February 27, 1850 in Grand Rapids, Portage, Wisconsin Her daughter Ida A was born on April 25, 1852 in Lone Pine, Portage, Wisconsin. Ida passed away on January 5, 1854, when she was 1 year old. John Wallace was born on July 25, 1854. Allen Eugene was born on July 11, 1856, in Green Lake, Wisconsin. Capitola Medora was born on June 21, 1859.

Rebecca ROE lived in Almond, Wisconsin, in 1870 and Green Lake, Wisconsin, in 1880 with her son John W Else. Her father James passed away in 1880 in Wisconsin at the age of 91. (James ROE 1789–1880). Her daughter Capitola Medora passed away on June 13, 1884, in Philip, South Dakota, at the age of 24. Her sister Mary died on November 8, 1886, in Grand Rapids, Wisconsin, when Rebecca was 68 years old.

Death

Rebecca ROE died on February 8, 1887, when she was 69 years old.
