Biography

Born 02 Apr 1860 in Indiana, died 12 May 1936, age 76. Buried Floral Hill Cemetery Hoopeston, Iroquois, Illinois. His father was Daniel Roe of Indiana. Occupation at time of death given as "retired teamster"[1]

When his daughter Bernice Belva Roe married Floyd Coleman in 1920 John's wife is recorded as Frances Angeline Roe[5]. A marriage in Vermilion, Illinois, United States, sometime between 1878 to 1904 occurred between John W. Roe and Frances A. Fetereck[6]

His wife died 23 May 1922, Hoopeston, Grant, Vermilion, Illinois. Born 15 Apr 1860, Johnson Co., Indiana. Daughter of Samuel H. Tetrick and Priscilla Kelly, both of Indiana. She was buried Floral Hill cemetery, Hoopeston, Grant, Vermilion, Illinois[7]
