30.03.1810 in Adelshofen. Wilhelm Friederich is the son of weaver and Waldschütz (hunter?) Johann Georg Röcker and Dorothea Seitz.^[1][2], ^[3]

Marriage

Think there was a first marriage and maybe other children before eldest daughter listed on 1860 US Census - Barbara age 17, born circa 1843 in Baden. William also born in Baden, but spouse Maria was born in Württemberg. Age difference between William and Maria is 14 years. Age difference between Maria and Barbara is 19 years. There is an 8 year gap between Barbara and the next oldest child, William, Jr. Possible scenario: William was married to first spouse, had 1 or more children in Germany, of which Barbara was the youngest. William immigrated to USA with family. First spouse died before or after immigration. William then remarried to second wife, Maria, and had more children, the oldest of which is William, Jr. Need to find marriage record for Barbara which happened between 1860 census and 1870 census. Hopefully her mother will be listed. Might also be on a death record. Earlier censuses before this 1860 may not list individuals, only head of family. Maybe immigration records will help clarify if Barbara has older siblings.

Maria would also have immigrated to the USA, maybe under her maiden surname. Need to research her marriage record if in Wisconsin might prove if two marriages.
