Other sources say, she died after 1907. Her Father was Captain Fredrick Rogers who owned a claim section of 640 plus acres on the Pascagoula River near Rogers Lake.

He served with a Wayne County unit during the War of 1812. Part of the Mississippi Militia with the Mounted Gunmen.
