Homer Rogers was born on 30 June 1878 in Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, son of Clement Vann Rogers (1839-1911) and Mary America (Schrimsher) Rogers (1839-1890). He was a brother to Oklahoma's favorite son, Will Rogers..
He died 6 months later on Christmas Day 1878 in the Cherokee Nation. He was buried in Chelsea Cemetery, Chelsea, Oklahoma.[1]
