Ernest Porter Rogers was born in Feb 1861. He was the son of Porter Rogers (1823–1911) and Mary Zerviah Morgan Rogers (1832–1902). Brother of Mary Huntington (Rogers) Sevin, Elisha Rogers, Elizabeth Grace (Rogers) Sweet and Ernest Porter Rogers. The family was living in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut.
Ernest married Lillian (Mitchell) Rogers (1869–1943). They had at least one child, Ernest Tyler Rogers (1897–1939).
Ernest Porter Rogers passed away 22 Feb 1937 in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, USA. He was buried at the Yantic Cemetery in Norwich, New London County, Connecticut, USA.
