He married Isabella ELIZABETH Courtney at King, Ontario on March 4, 1885 and moved to Manitoba where they had 9 children. After her death in 1906, he moved to British Columbia.

As told to me by my Mom about her maternal Great Grandfather
many trees state birth location was Methven, Manitoba, but marriage record and other census documents indicate Ontario as location of birth. No birth records found in either Ontario or Manitoba data base. [Nass-24] 13 March 2022.
most documents state 1863 as year of birth, but stone has 1861.
