In 1832 Mary lived in Bedeque, Prince Edward Island.

William Johnstone and Mary Rogers, daughter of Joseph Rogers and Margaret James were married on 29 Dec 1868. " MARRIED AT SUMMERSIDE ON TUESDAY THE 29TH ULT., WM. JOHNSTON, (merchant), OF NEW LONDON TO MARY ROGERS, OF BEDEQUE. ^{[2] [3]}

Mary died 10 Nov 1909 in Prince Edward Island. ^[4]

Research Notes

The 1881 census has Nova Scotia as her birthplace, and Welsh origin; but the 1901 census says she was born in Wales. Since her parents are said to have arrived in Prince Edward Island in 1832, I favour Wales as her birthplace.

Dan MacDonald, Descendants of David Morgan Rogers (Island Register, Prince Edward Island), entry 33, Mary Rogers says she married William Johnstone in 1886, probably a typo.
