Note N88Problem with dates. Eastern Cherokee Application 26585 indicates Eliza died in 1854 with no children. William and Amanda began having children in 1853 according to census records. Did Eliza and William separate with her returning to Indian Territory? Did Eliza die earlier than recorded in applications? Or could William's oldest child be hers?
