Isaac Rogers was born about 1712, in Westerly, Kings county (modern day Washington county,) Rhode Island, a son of Jeremiah Rogers and Mary Masingberd.[1]
In 1745, Isaac Rogers served as the Captain's Quartermaster on the Privateer ship Hector, during King George's War, which was part of the French & Indian Wars. [2] His name appears on a list of Soldiers and Sailors in King George's War 1740-1748, published by the Rhode Island Genealogy Trails website.[3]
