Samuel Rogers was a son of Samuel and Abigail (Plumb) Rogers of New London, Connecticut.

Samuell, child of Samuell Rogers, was baptised on 10 May 1702 in New London, Connecticut, United States.^[1]

He married Lucy Denison, daughter of Robert Denison in 1730 and established a farm in North Parish, New Salem Society.

He passed away about 1773 or '74.
