He was born in 1833 in Illinois, USA and his parents were David Redmon Rogers (1802–1871) and Frances "Fanny" Alcorn.
William Riley Rogers first married to (Prudence) Melissa Stevens (1840–1878).
William Riley Rogers married secondly to Lesela "Lulu" Callaway.
He died on 12 Apr 1907 in Marblehead, Adams County, Illinois, USA and was buried at Prairie Mound Cemetery in New Hartford, Pike County, Illinois, USA. [1]
