Elizabeth Rogers was born at Ballybender, County Cork, Ireland on 24 August 1662, married Joseph Pike on 5 June 1682, and died 16 Sep 1733 in North Liberties, City of Cork.
It is possible that she died earlier (about 16 July 1728) since she wasn't mentioned in her husband's will but was said to be one of the Executors. If the 1728 date is true then it took four years to get to probate.
Why did it take eight years to probate her Will? Richard, her son, was Co-Executor and had been through the process before with his father's will. Accordingly Richard in London & his mother in Cork all this time. It may have been contested by one or more of her children. She had these 10 children that are listed but can't prove some?
