His will was dated 20 April 1553 and proved 19 May 1553. In the will he names his wife Joan and a total of seven children, but only names son Edward. He also mentioned a brother Richard.[1]

The bio says his parents are unknown. But he has been attached to a mother that is 2 years younger than he is. What do you think of detaching William from those parents ?
