He married Linda Sherryl Harder on 8 May 1970 in Dallas, Texas. She died in 2009.

Danny Lee Rohmer age 69, of Cedar Hill Texas, lost his battle against cancer on Sunday February 14, 2016. He was born July 30, 1946 in Dallas Texas, the son of Ernest and Marjorie (Holden) Rohmer. Danny attended Jesuit High School where he was a member of the football team. Following his graduation in 1965 and a brief period in college, Danny proudly served as a sergeant in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Visitation will be 11:30am to 12:30pm Thursday February 18, 2016 at the Funeral Home, and the Funeral Service will begin at 12:30pm. Interment will follow at the D/FW National Cemetery.
