Sarah (Sallie) Rolfe was the daughter of William Rolfe of the Virginia Colony. Sarah Rolfe married first Charles Harris and had one son Dr. William Rolfe Harris. Charles Harris died on 11 Jan 1829. Two years after Sarah Rolfe Harris was widowed she married Samuel Rogers (14 Nov 1798 to 17 Dec 1856) son of Joseph Rogers (1771-1851) and Dicey Kittrell (1776-1851) Joseph's father John Rogers had received a land grant from Lord Granville. Sallie and Samuel Rogers had two children, Ann Eliza Rogers and Major Andrew J. Rogers (12-2-1830 to 1-21-1875).
