In 1900, Eulalia Chacon, age 32, lived in Cimarron, Union, New Mexico, with her husband, Julian Chacon, age 39, and a day laborer; and their children: Emilio Chacon, age 14, and a day laborer; Geronimo Chacon, age 12, and a day laborer; Desideria Chacon, age 9; Suspice Chacon, age 3; and Gillermo Chacon, 8-months-old.[1]
In 1910, Eulalia Chacon, age 43, lived in Vigil, Las Animas, Colorado, with her husband, Julian Chacon, age 48, and a farmer; and their children: Emilio Chacon, age 24, a farm laborer; Geronimo Chacon, age 22; a farm laborer; Suspice Chacon, age 13; Soledad Chacon, age 6; Florencio Chacon, age 4; and Francisco Chacon, age 1.[3]
In 1920 Eulalia Chacon, age 53, lived in Township 35, Conejos, Colorado, with her husband, Julian Chacon, age 59; and their children: Soledad Chacon, age 16; Florencio Chacon, age 14; and Francisco Chacon, age 11.[4]
In 1930 at age 61, she lived in La Sauses, Conejos, Colorado, with her husband, Julian Chacon, age 67, a farmer; and their two sons, Florencio Chacon, age 24, and a farm laborer; and Frank Chacon, age 21, and a farm laborer.[5]
In 1940, Eulalia Chacon, widowed and a farmer at age 72, lived on the family farm in La Sauses, Conejos, Colorado, with her son Florencio Chacon, age 34 and a farm laborer.[6]
Death
Eulalia died about 1953 (aged 87–88) in Colorado, and she was interred at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Colorado, USA.[7]
Research Notes
Her nickname or favorite name was Eva, as it was recorded acknowledging the "next of kin" on the WWII Draft Card of her grandson, Max Herrera.
