In 1860, Lorenzo Romero, age 46, a farmer, lived in Arroyo Hondo, Taos, New Mexico Territory, with his wife, Isabel Martinez, age 34; and their children: Juan de Jesus Romero, age 17, a farm laborer; Rosario Romero, age 12; Jose Antonio Romereo, age 8; Maria de luvina Romero, age 8; Jose Geronimo Romero, age 5; Marcelina Romero, age 2; and Crecencia Romero, age 3-months old.[4]
In 1870, Lorenzo Romero, age 56 and a farmer, lived in Cucharas, Huerfano, Colorado Territory, with his wife, Maria Isabel Romero, age 43; and their children: Jose Antonio Romero, age 16; a farm laborer; Mary de Luvina Romero, age 15; Jose Geronimo Romero, age 14, a sheep herder; Maria Marcelina Romero, age 11; Maria Crecencia Romero, age 9; Jose Margarito Romero, age 6; and Jose Leandro Romero, age 1.[5]
In 1880, Lorenzo Romero, a widower at age 66 and a farmer; lived in Huerfano, Colorado, with his two youngest sons, Margarito Romero, age 16; and Leandro Romero, age 12.[6]
Death
Lorenzo Romero died May 1891 (age 77) in Walsenburg, Huerfano County, Colorado, and he was interred at South Saint Mary Cemetery, Walsenburg, Huerfano County, Colorado, USA.[7][8][9]
