= Thomas Rondeau was born on Jan. 10, 1726 and was baptized under condition 10 days later on Jan. 20, 1726 in Nicolet, having had lay baptism from the midwife at birth.[1]
He is the son of Thomas Rondeau and Catherine Bourguoin.[1]
Thomas made at least one trip to Détroit on the fur trade in 1751, permission for such trip being given in 1751.
Thomas married Marie Louise Debien on Jan. 27, 1755 in Notre-Dame de Montréal.[3]
His wife is deceased and the inventory of their property was completed on 21 October 1786, the document clearly states that Thomas Rondeau appeared before the magistrate in this instance.
Thomas Rondeau died 25 March 1794 and was buried on the 26th in Montréal (ND), the record giving him 72 years of age. Named witnesses are André Baron and Durandeaux.[5]
