Biography

He was born on 02 Apr 1856 in New York City, New York, USA and his parents were Elizabeth (Emlen) and James Alfred Roosevelt (1825-1898).

(James) Alfred Roosevelt married on 05 Dec 1882 at St.Paul's Church in Brookline, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA to Katherine Lowell ^[1] (1858-1925).

He was a banker for 12 years and worked for his father at Roosevelt & Son on Wall Street.

Alfred died young due to injuries suffered while tring to board a train. He left behind three children.^[2]He died on 02 Jul 1891 in Mamaroneck, Long Island, New York, USA. ^[3]
