XI. Clara, b. 1788; m. H. Tuttle, brother of Michael Tuttle.
XIII. Charlotte, b. 1795, m. Ezra Williams; d. in Washington D.C., about 1853, in the 59th year of her age.[12]
Note N00715Samson and Lusannah were buried on the farm where they had lived. Lusannah died first and Sampson had her buried there. He requested to be buried beside her.
The land was sold and their bodies were removed to the Wilcox burying ground near Castle Creek, Broome County, New York. This was about 4 miles from the Samson French Farm.
Note N00755At her death, her husband wrote:
"Lusannah my most affectionate companion & wife died September the 11 day 1829 and was 77 years old wanting 9 days & died in my house in Chenango in the county of Broom in the state of New York & we lived as husband and wife together over sixty years & although death came on Holy order it came too soon & I felt the great loss & I myself was at that time 87 eight-seven wanting four days but I think we shant be but a little while parted.
