GAVBR: !Died: 78yrs 8mo of Apoplexy Have copy of obit from the Albion Transcript dated 21 Oct 1898 p. 5 Friday. Sent to me by Mrs. Martin L. Van Buren 824 Center St. Jackson, MI 49202. Mrs. J.W.Van Buren Mrs. Sallie J. Van Buren, widow of the late J.W.Van Buren, died at h er home, southwest of the city, Wednedsay morning from the effects of a stroke of paralysis w hich she suffered a few days ago. Mrs. Van Buren was born in the state of New York, Feb 20, 1820. She has been a residen t here about 28 years. She leaves two sons, Phillip J. and Charles, of Albion, and two daught ers, Mrs. Malissa Ve Bier, of Jackson, and Mrs. Fayetta Romans, with home she resided. The f uneral will be held at 10:30 tomorrow at the late home. Cemetery Records say she was born 25 Feb 1820. Buried Block 55 Lot 5
