Biography

Ruth Roper was born April 1655, possibly in Charlestown Massachusetts. She was daughter of John Ropar of Charlestown, Massachusetts. [1]

Ruth Ropar married John Haynes of Sudbury in June 1683. [1]

  • Dorithy born Mar 29, 1799, died June 5, age 20, unmarried.

  • Rachel Jul 20, 1693, married Jacob Holmes of Worcester.
  • Josiah Jul 10, 1696 married Persis Knight of Sudbury

"Two of Ruth's brothers Ephraim and John, with two of Ephraim's [unknown] were all killed by the Indians at Lancaster." [1]

Ruth married second, 18 November 1712, Daniel Stone.
